high tea with lee at the rose veranda yesterday.
am done with the book and am rather disgruntled with the way the story ended, i.e., the nineteen years later bit. imho, and the "h" for me doesn't represent "humble" as much as it does "honest", harry should have ended up with Unnamed Hot Bombshell because i always thought ginny weasley a creep, right from the beginning. when JKR introduced her into the story she was regarded a non-entity who, alongside colin creevey, was another one among harry's legions of fans, and i'm sure you'll agree that the movies did nothing for her image even though redheads are practically born to be hot. then there was that shady business with the diary and from then on she was just ron's weak and inept younger sister. that she and harry should hook up is much akin to groupie-idol relationships- it's just not fitting, not fitting at all.
what a bloody, bloody, tragedy.
v restless, need to get out.
