HA HA.

photos from day out with lee. will very well stay home from now till term begins. my cards are having a bit of a moment of their own and it is quite embarrassing when you've exceeded the spending limit and have to pay part of the bill in cash. i really do not approve of such wayward expenditures but lately i've turned into someone i don't quite recognise.

managed to catch the order of the phoenix on friday. if not to see for youself how quite extraordinary evanna lynch is, it probably isn't worth your while. honestly though, i was so taken by luna lovegood in the movie and how she seemed completely out of sync with her surroundings that immediately after, i came right back to read up on the actress who played her.

bellatrix lestrange was a disappointment. i envisioned her to be CRAZYbeautiful, maybe something out of alexander mcqueen / john galliano's fall '07, but she turned out all crazy and no beautiful.

if i had my way, this would be bellatrix lestrange.

and that's the thing about books-to-movies, they kind of dictate what you should imagine. although i must say, quidditch in my mind was never quite as spectacular as that we saw in sorcerer's stone. and luna had buckteeth.

transformers, on the other hand, was bloody good, wasn't it? for a while i even wanted a tshirt, then i snapped out of it. my only gripe was the way it ended: -

one i'm gonna quote lee here because she said it so well: ...the last bit where the guy and girl were making out on his car was a bit warped. i mean, isn't that basically the same as making out on top of your friend? and

two so obvious the way they prepared for the eventuality of a sequel. seeing as how it went down so well with the masses, it is almost dead certain the producers will decide to franchise and milk this cashcow's teats black and blue, and that can't be good, can it? see: pirates, xmen, matrix

still, transformers II would be something i'd look forward to <3 michael bay <3
