i watch the news on fridays for one reason, and today i finally saw myself on tv \/ yeah! although i'm not sure if it's counted.
mom and i were fixated on the screen and when i spotted gregory, christine and sarah coming out of the entrance mom gleefully yelled "THAT'S YOU!" at me and in excitement i yelled "YES THAT'S ME!" back at her before i realised i hadn't actually seen myself at all. i just assumed i did because i was with the other interns that day. so shooting mom a reproachful look, i asked if she knew me at all, to vehement assertion that she really did and i really was for the flightiest of moments on screen.
after careful and thorough deliberation, i remembered that gregory enlisted last week, so mom was right. she did see me, and i did too. i just thought i was a man.
spent the entire day in the nat'l library sifting through the newspaper archives for material. i dig the tech, so cool. but very expensive printing. okay am going to find something else to do right now. maybe read the advance theory of driving. have been putting that off since dec and my test date's tmr. or get started on one of the books i picked up from borders months ago. or go throw up my dinner. y'know, whatever goes.
