didn't think it would happen so soon but i am home alone again. this coming barely seconds after brother's unprecedented announcement he was going over to a friend's for a sleepover before jauntily walking out the door. so abrupt and spontaneous, i was quite annoyed, my fondness for sponteneity notwithstanding.
of course, this is without parental approval, but considering dad is away as per normal and mom woudn't hear of it because she dropped a bomb on me this morning just as i was exiting the car upon arrival at school ("so i'll see you sunday night; remember to wake up early tmr! you have walk to school :D <---flashes big toothy grin at me) so unless i rat on him, no one would be the wiser. okay i think i shall rat; i have no qualms about ratting. you know, for the greater good.
things have been looking up since the start of this week. the main catalyst being finally going through with something i have wanted to do for a long time. also, have lost 3 bleeding kgs in 9 days. that -1kg/72hrs is fantastic news. am mean green kilo-shedding machine! other than that, mom has bought a plethora of vitamin supplements for my mental well-being. with all the pills i'm consuming, i give you permission to request that i should convince you on how we are not too reliant on science and technology today, just to see me squirm uncomfortably. not that my previous argument was very convincing ):
ohmygod i have to walk to school tmr. it had better not be one of the 7.05 mornings. i don't think i've mentioned it but ever so oft i wake up at 7.05 and manage to be in school by 7.16. those are the times when i think i'm larger-than-life. tmr is not going to be one of those days, unfortunately.
oh! and cheryl mentioned on monday she bought me shoes i have been coveting for months. AND she has additional surprises for me. 5 of them, in fact. although i thought it would have been a greater surprise if she didn't inform me of the surprises. still, v eager for their arrival :D i should mention that her condo overlooks the stage where pcd performed yesterday but all she could enjoy were the gyrating of tiny figures to don't cha, buttons and beep (even after she tried getting a closer look through the lens of the camera) so that's not really that big a deal after all. bugger. |
