and so we will never know how close we were to finding each other. will live in absolute misery and with a loneliness in our hearts for rest of lives. heck, throw in a terminally-ill-and-losing-eyesight stud in our lives and maybe we could donate our eyes to him (and then commit suicide) even though losing his eyesight is part of the process in which stud is rotting away because he is terminally ill. but we do not care, do we? DO WE?
