want to find tadpole so we can go out and play but now that half blood prince is out i guess she'll be occupied till she's read it 20 000 times. and bought all the different versions (japanese/chinese/korean yadda) like she did for order of the phoenix. madness.

spent the weekend watching cruel intentions over and over again. so wickedly funny, with smg of buffy fame taking on a role as a dominatrix ooh so sexy so so sexy. don't you hate it when movies get censored and most of the good bits are cut? observe:

(original)
Mrs. Sugarman: Oh, did I ever tell you the time, when my late husband sent me...
Sebastian: Yes, you already did, Mrs. Sugarman.
Mrs. Sugarman: Oh, I did?
Sebastian: Right after we played backgammon, Mrs. Sugarman.
Mrs. Sugarman: Oh! We played backgammon?
Sebastian: Uh huh. You beat me three times.
Mrs. Sugarman: I did?
Sebastian: Yup. Then I fucked your daughter.
Mrs. Sugarman: Excuse me?
Sebastian: I said, would you care for some water?
Mrs. Sugarman: No, thank you.

so the harmless mrs sugarman ends up being some hard of hearing old lady who can hear complete sentences but cannot understand single words such as "yup".

Helen Rosemont: Sebaaaastian!
Sebastian: [Under his breath] Aw fuck me. [Hugging Helen] Aunt Helen! God I've missed you!

and then there's the kissing scene kathryn has with cecil which of course didn't make it pass censorship, despite it being one of the highlights of the film.
